The HP MSL4048 Tape Library offers up to 38TB of compressed storage capacity in only an 4U form factor and is available in a variety of configurations. The MSL4048 Tape Library provides your choice of Ultrium 960, Ultrium 920 or Ultrium 448 Tape Drives. You can be sure that the MSL4048 meets the highest performance standards of larger tape libraries with a rating of 2 million mean swaps between failures. The MSL4048 enables you to easily manage your media both in and out of the library with a standard bar code reader and four 12-slot removable magazines. As your data protection needs increase, simply add additional performance or capacity to your MSL4048 tape library with tool-free drive upgrade kits.
